You can earn way more than 1000 extra wp if you run prototype gear.
If you're going to take points away for using better gear then make it more drastic.
But I would argue that staying alive is WAY more important than having the best skills, which when it comes to all of the core locus spam, etc, makes it much easier to survive in a suit with 8 slots compared to 4.
I would also argue that support includes firing down range with a mass driver to take out equipment, and soften the opponents. While yes you get additional warpoints, a weapon can be just as effective, if not more effective, than any equipment. I would understand if it would be better to take away 50 points for each kill, but assists are absolutely support. Invalidating a score just because of a kill or kill assist is just silly. Killing that scout rushing at you, or destroying a vehicle with AV grenades is just as important as anything else.
That said, if you will stay firm on your rules I guess I'll still compete...I just need to know what you consider boosting. Is only helping your squad boosting? Is repping a player dropping an orbital boosting? Is equipment spam boosting?
Maybe consider making this a solo logi challenge: No squads, No defend orders, etc

Which is completely fair.
I'll be recording some gameplay of me in my advanced suit today then.
For anyone without a capture card, you can always get creative and create a stand for your phone to record a match. I'm sure potato quality is still better than nothing :P

Quick question
Does adv gear mean everything on the suit, or just adv equipment and suit?
like, can you use complex modules for more HP?

I really don't like playing in Dom.
I feel like I'm at a disadvantage here because I can't get a good squad together and we just get stomped every match.
hmmmm. I might have to bring an extra logi player with me just to make this work

Still waiting on that logistics update they keep promising.
When I spoke to Cross recently he said he keeps pushing for it, but that Rattati is more focused on trying to get PC to a more viable state.

It's really a lot more difficult than you'd think to not be able to shoot anything. As soon as your teammates die you literally just have to run away...or in the case of this event, maybe it would be better to die so you're not stuck having to waste time getting back to your team? idk

Seeing as how I generally don't pass 5k wp even in my proto suit in optimal conditions, with 4k being something I've done only a handful of times...I've already given up.
Not worth my time to torture myself in domination for hours on end until we get a half decent match. I don't play this game mode for a reason, nor do I actually have the option to run with a decent squad (although, technically, the worse your squad is doing, the more wp are available)
While yes this is a different and interesting sort of competition, it's just not fun for me :/
