Rail rifle doesnt have a significant range advantage over the scrambler rifle, and it certainly doesnt have a dps advantage.
Rail rifle also has **** handling and starts bouncing all over the place for some reason, while the scrambler is ridiculously accurate and has no charge mechanic to deal with to drop the accumulating kick.
Just use a different rifle, and a different dropsuit, these things are not going to be fixed any time soon, Ive been talking about how **** the rail rifle is for months now.
Edit: seriously stop using it, drops in usage are one of the things CCP looks at to kick off investigation into balance, if you keep using this weapon regardless of how bad it is, it is much less likely they will actually decide to fix it. |

Stop whining. It got changed because it dominated every fight, and now it's perfectly fine as it is.
It got nerfed too much, just like the ASCR was buffed too much just recently |

It got nerfed too much, just like the ASCR was buffed too much just recently The ONLY thing the Rail Rifle is bad at is CQC, which is to be expected based on how powerful it is at range.
Except that its terrible at long range too, and is far outperformed by the tactical scrambler and the laser rifle. |
