I ended up making twelve, but ultimately had to limit my submission down to just one. Naturally I had to represent the Caldari and what started out as a Khanid inspired work ended up fitting Osomon Surveillance perfectly.
Submitted Pattern:
'Osomon' Dropsuit Skin
Here are a few other skins I designed. I honestly don't so much care about the contest as much as I do having CCP-senpai notice my work and hopefully put them into the game.
'Seitudoa Taskforce' Dropsuit Skin
'Ostrakon' Dropsuit Skin
'Crux' Dropsuit Skin (unofficially I call it 'Mintchip', homage to the only CCP dev that ever liked my fan fiction.)
'Eyniletti' Dropsuit Skin
'Intara' Dropsuit Skin
'Zumari' Dropsuit Skin
'Namtar' Dropsuit Skin
'Kameira' Dropsuit Skin (I really love this one. I tried to go for that Gulf War aesthetic for a slave army given a bunch of hand-me-down weapons.)
'Field Sappers' Dropsuit Skin
'Ametat' Dropsuit Skin (Yes, finally, an Amarr skin.)
'Kinsho' Dropsuit Skin (This one has a special connection to me. It's basically a slightly modified ABU pattern, just like the ones that we use in the US Air Force. I would have been my first pick for submission, but I really think that the Osomon one stands out against other competition.)

Jadek Menaheim wrote:You actually got it to look like fabric. Texture emboss and blur effect? All of these are well done! Thanks, I'm glad you like them. Some of these were actually taken and inspired from old defunct camouflage patterns used around the world and modified using a crystal fractal pattern and hue adjustment. I figured out if you mess with the saturation enough you can make the grain stand out without making the colors appear too unnatural. Ergo, some of them actually are edited from pictures of fabric.
Still, I'm seriously glad you like them.

Tried to choose a camo in the poll but couldnGÇÖt bring myself to pick one. My difficulty resides in the fact that an apparently ****** sample every so often produces great overall final results when applied to a full suit (in real life and I suppose here too).
Does anyone here have the ability to produce GÇ£camo suit previewsGÇ¥?
I know it is asking for a whole lot of work but I feel it would really be needed in order to assess the effectiveness and beauty of these samples.
See you around... boots on the ground!
Aelns Dene Not two days before the voting deadline, sorry. Agreed. While I'd like to provide further sampling on a full suit I lack the time and artistic talent to do so on such notice.
To be blunt, it was not a part of the required submission and it doesn't seem fair to me that others may receive special consideration for tacking a full suit design on.
