I was in a domination last night, and there was a sniper going nuts on our team with a Thale's. He was like 21-0 halfway through the battle; so, I decided to do some hunting.
I found him on our side of the map, and I put a bullet in his head. Ten seconds later, I noticed he left the battle. Another merc in my squad said there is some sort of exploit where if you leave battle before your clone expires, you get to keep your gear. Is this true?
He also said that the coward would get to "keep" the 21 kills he had in the battle.
I've been here a long time; you would think I would know the answer to this, but I guess I don't pay too much attention to that kind of thing.
The wimp was from subsonic sythesis. I normally don't call people out on here, but I found it rather cowardly.
Anybody know the truth behind this? Happy Gaming!!! |

And, yes, I know I messed up the title of this thread. My eyes are getting old and tired. |

I was able to duplicate it. Lose your Rattati modified gk.0 with officer ARs? Good news!
So, you just leave battle after you die and you won't lose your stuff? |

That's fine. As long as I know this wimp was doing something sneaky, that's all I need to know. I wish I remembered his/her name.
Boy, we've reached another low in Dust 514. |

Yeah, I would have, man, but he was in a place up high where all I could hit was his head. After he was shot, of course, his body fell, and I couldn't hit it again. |

I got a headshot on him. Is that true? I don't ever pay attention when I get headshotted. Is my clone done at that point? |

I think so. But I did melee a heavy with a Gastun's HMG while I was wearing a myofib Apex mk.0 scout. I double tapped him. It made the rest of my night. |

So while he is on the map screen and while his clone is stil counting down for a "pick me up" just leave battle. That's it. Simple. Make sure you do it while the timer is still counting down or you will have lost the fitting. If he got a headshot, the clone would have been terminated - no chance of revival - and the guy woud have lost his Thales'.
I did get a headshot. But I'm now wondering if he still thought that he would keep his stuff if he got out. |
