It's smart but aesthetically disgusting. The GalAss w/ ARR beating the same suit w/ AR or MinAss w/ AScr beating the same suit w/ ACR. I don't suppose this should be intended.
Fix shields > Less of ARMOR 514 > Greater prevalence and application of shield weapons to counter newly-buffed shield suits > Further AR buffs if needed > smiles all around. The notion of the game having OP Scrambler Rifles and ASCRs as well as an Armor Meta is ******* hilarious. Pick one.
You dont seem to understand, the scrambler has always been absurdly prohibitively OP against shield suits, and its still very good against armor suits, and assault scrambler after buff is now just as absurdly OP against shield suits, and it also is now decent against armor suits.
These weapons just do too much damage and have too wide a damage profile to be balanced at any time, its either acceptable against armor and stupendously OP against shields, or good against shields and **** against armor.
Your assertion that armor meta and OP scramblers as being mutually exclusive is completely nonsensical, especially because OP scramblers is one of the major factors contributing to armor meta, since it makes shield tanking 100% suicidal and reinforces the requirement to run hp stacked armor fits for basic survival. |

Gal + ARR is one of the more effective assault combos in PCs as well (though the ACR/Scrambler outperforms it I think, at least in raw numbers of kills) |
