I like how the weapon is considered spammable because you have to tap the trigger repeatedly....but the most commonly used automatic weapons are not for the sole reason you can hold down the trigger.

I don't really care if people think it is or isn't. I'm just curious about the reasons why they consider this weapon spam but not say the TAC-AR (an amazing double standard) and also not faster RoF weapons with larger magazines.

Mostly because the others require more than one shot to land?
If it only requires one shot then how is it spam? If it requires more than one shot how is it any different? If it requires less rounds than the other weapons then how is it still spam?
The question is not how its over performing but why it is spam to fire multiple shots from a semi automatic rifle as fast as possible while it is not spam to fire more rounds faster from an automatic rifle.

The only rifle the ScR and the AScR have RoF over are the Rail Rifles as far as I can tell. Tell me more about that......

Besides, you can cite numbers all day. Doesn't trump observable results in the field.
You are citing an out of game mechanism/exploit and and unavoidable mechanic which does not adjust the True RoF of the weapon as proof against this?
Should I start citing heat build up as a control for RoF and DPS?
However we are getting off topic. You've yet to justify why it is considered spam when it neither is the sole semi automatic weapon, the other which is not considered spam despite equal RoF and lack a of penalising mechanics, nor does it have the highest RoF of weapons in its respective classes.
