I am sure this isn't any big news or concept but it has been on my mind quite a bit as I attempt to mentally pass the time at work (I earn mah paycheck...).
So we have the tech problem. Rattati is more open on the game's faults. This is even more so when on Biomassed. And we have the first hint/joke/"WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME?!" from CCP about the possibility of transfer.
All that being said, with DUST not being able to be what we all wanted it to be, with Rattati being honest about the game's problems, is DUST just in limbo waiting for the next progression of 'Intellectual Advancement'?
We are going to get to the point, if we are not already there, where new players are simply not going to want to join even if the game becomes super accessible. Say in another year, Rattati and Friends nail the game in every conceivable way ("that's the way I like to put it" - Groucho), would there be enough people that move away from their newer systems in order to play this game? What about 18 months? What about in another 2 years when Sony starts to get to the point where "not supporting the PS3" looks like the best option?
It seems to me that we are neither dead nor alive but I don't see Rip Torn anywhere...

It bothers me the PC might be their next port for dust 514, some people just don't have the money to spend on a good rig.

Tinfoil hat donned...
I think the best approach is both acctually.
- Make a direct port of Dust 514 to PS4. Basically a Lobby shooter with updated visual, framerate and art assets (Minmatar tanks etc). Add a good PVE mode and larger battles, and your golden.
- Merge Project Legion into the EVE client and make it one game to compete against Star Citizen etc. |

It was originally planned to be a PC port with the announcement of Project Legion back in Fanfest 2014, but that seems to have flown out the window at this point now that Dust is profitable with Rattati in control. No one is sure now as to where CCP will take this game. I'm actually hoping it would go into the PS4.

Again, it doesn't matter what system it ends up on.
It just needs to end up somewhere.
I am mostly asking if the game is just in a holding pattern waiting for the next step, be in a different system or death.

It doesn't take a lot of money to build a decent gaming rig, the biggest expense is always the GPU. Use PC Parts Picker to make a couple possible builds, keep in mind both NVIDIA and AMD have multi gpu capabilities so you can always increase you gpu capabilities (just do your research first). The savings rack up in buying used parts, and not picking parts that aren't necessary.
The key thing you want to watch out for is Overclocking, if used parts were not overclocked properly then they could be damaged. Also the ability for you to Overclock can also help expand your gaming capability.
Side note: AMD processors are a lot cheaper
I am sure there are a ton of people on here that could guide you in making an affordable build should you wish to pursue PC gaming.
If you can't read in between the lines, then what makes you think you can write?

This is the most obvious path.

See the thing is it wouldn't be a problem if I was a working adult but I'm not, I'm a 16yr old talking summer classes for college credits plus any money I make is going strictly to getting a vehicle. So yeah priorities is lesson of its own I've come to learn. But I can definitely ask for a ps4 for Christmas :D

Care to elaborate?

My primary concern about moving to PC - bots don't belong in Dust at any level and CCP will not be able to stop them all.
