Just because you can eventually in 6 months get to where 100 bucks got somewhere else, giving him bonuses to ISK, experimental gear productions, and even a built in damage mod turning STD gear into better then ADV, does not mean it's not completely designed with payers to come out on top in mind for having spent more.
No other aspect of Dust is even close to P2W as the Warbarge.

Pay-to-win is only when you can buy something that I can't get in game. It doesn't matter how hard it is to attain, just that I can get it at all is what makes it not pay-to-win.

I don't mind passive stuff like ISK, SP or even the experimental factory...but I dislike anything that give an advantage in-match (like the Damage modifier). I just hope they don't go further into that rabbit hole when they add more modules. |

What's that C.C.P. can't hear over all the money they made off of people like me. Just being honest with ya that rabbit whole only gets deeper and C.C.P. intends to find out just how deep it is.

The Warbarge its self is not the problem its buying components, they should have kept the old booster philosophy ie. 100 AUR = %50 module production for the day (or something like that).

Sorta, I mean I agree that the "pay to get it faster" is perfectly acceptable, but there is also a matter of degree to consider.
As an absurd example "Pay $10 and get it now, or grind it out for 3 years" is obviously not acceptable. Now I think there have been a lot of improvements in terms of allowing players to generate components through battles and missions, but I've been going with the "No AUR" approach to Warbarge leveling and holy **** is it painfully long in comparison to just buying the components.
Most of the Warbarge doesn't bother me too much, but it's the in-game advantages *glares at Damage Bonus* that really facilitated the Pay to Win argument. So while I don't think the current system is terrible per say, I do lean more towards the fact that you still level it a bit too slowly in comparison to the AUR option.

Every 2 days I redeem my 400 components and I waste those for the Experimental weapons/dropsuits.
Those keys I save them and heck I have 7 in my alt with not many boxes so yep. Its not pay to win.
Only a dummy would spend AUR on those Components. If you like to spend then that's your choice.

It takes longer than I would prefer for F2Players to level up their warbarges, I'll admit that. It isn't P2W though, it's Pay To Get Faster. Components drop in EoM salvage, can be earned from missions, and found in strongboxes opened with keys earned from daily missions (i.e. no cost to the player).
On a semi-related note: would be nice if strongboxes dropped warbarge components more often.

I got 1490 in my alt by opening ONE box. Then 520 more from the daily mission. The most I've gotton were 2222 from a Box = :D

Not quite,
BUT in the case of damage mod it might very well be.
having a blanket damage bonus... It's just too much.
Disclaimer: I'm not QQing about what other people have. I've been enjoying the +6% damabonus since the third day of warbarges.
Looking at both sides of the coin.
