Yesterday I pulled out one of my special Frames Modded Assaults.....
Pity I wasn't thinking and after a few kills went to hack a CRU and exposed myself to a shotgun scout..... (Ouch  )
What have you done recently that makes you facepalm?

Drove my LAV into the redline to see how far I get (almost full team left match, so there was little else to do).
When there was 2 seconds left on the countdown I suddenly remembered I had equipped my fully stocked Proto Logi suite...
Note to self: Switch to BPO before deliberately suiciding

A tank kills my proto logi suit
So I spend the rest of the match dying repetitively running around the map with AV.
I swear, it's like shotgun scouts know exactly where you are even if you're 500 meters away from the objective.
I'm just trying to kill this tank, leave me the **** alone dammit

So I was running with logi support on the meat grinder (domination). They had the objective. My team wasn't really pushing, just sitting by the doors shooting whoever they can.
So I turned to my logi support and told him i'm going balls deep. Now I thought he said 'Allons-y' as this guy is a huge Doctor Who fan. Turns out, he said BRB, not be right back but B-R-B...

I wanted to learn how to fly an ADS at one point, and created an Alt to skill into them.
Instead of trying to practice with a regular, reasonably priced DS first, I wasn't thinking and went ahead and purchased an extremely expensive ADS for my first flight.
It ended as a smarter person would reasonably expect. Quickly and expensively.

Nah but in-game the stupidest thing I've ever done was probably speccing Plasma Cannons the day they were released. That was really, really dumb of me. I should have known better.

I placed a Re on the ground and accidentally press the Boom-Boom button killing myself.
Not listen to instincts and die 5 times for every kill.

I tried putting a small blaster on an incubus to see if this hotfix hotfix hotfixed them enough
First, I chased around a gunnlogi and stripped off its shields, twice. Once while it was hardened.
Overheated/lost tracking on him before I could chew through the armor, but still.
Then, I shredded a pro assault swarmer on a rooftop while he was laughing hysterically at the blaster incubus hovering in front of him
I was so shocked at that second one that I brought up the chat channels midair so I could spam "wtf GUYS I ACTUALLY KILLED SOMETHING WITH A BLASTER INCUBUS" while my unattended incubus careened into the ground and rolled over
Then a scout killed me while I tried to recall it  |

When I was a newbie a d just started skilling into the caldari heavies, I decided to Rambo against 7 other mercs. Actually ended up killing all of them and started jumping with joy. Shouldn't have done that as a rail tank was not too far away and shot me down.

I dont know if there is enough room on this page for all the dumbsh1t I have done.
When I first started playing this game,,me and my son found it on PSN for a free download. This was our first FPS that I have ever played. So the list:
1) Spent 20 minutes trying to figure out if we had to have PlayStation Move in order to play. We had played Wii before so it made sense. Felt dumb there
2) During Academy played ambush, and ran out of clones. We didn't know that there was only a certain amount of clones given.
So we started searching and googling on how to get or buy more clones.
3) My 8yr told me the nano hives were protective shields and to kneel down in them and I wouldnt take damage. LOL Little troll.
That didnt turn out well.
4) I thought RDV pilots were actual EvE pilots and might have been scammed out of some isk trying to get vehciles delivered.
5) I mean for this one,,,everyone has done it. Hoped on a missile installation and shot enemy MCC FTW. I know I know.
6) I shot the MCC with a sniper rifle and it returned fire. No,,I am an idiot and there was a sniper up there that I didnt see it,,so I thought the MCC was like an installation.
I think that is enough.
Laugh poke fun, call me an idiot . It is all true.

Fun fact: in the beta this actually worked, you even got points for damaging the MCC
One person alone wouldn't do much, but get everyone to shoot the mcc together with railgun installations, tanks, and AV and you could speed up its destruction like you had several extra control points on your side |

Ah, yeah. Dumbest thing I've ever done was assume that a blue-dot would -NOT- walk in front of me when using a Plasma Cannon, causing me to kill myself but not him because friendly fire isn't a thing in pubs.
