Yesterday I pulled out one of my special Frames Modded Assaults.....
Pity I wasn't thinking and after a few kills went to hack a CRU and exposed myself to a shotgun scout..... (Ouch  )
What have you done recently that makes you facepalm?

Drove my LAV into the redline to see how far I get (almost full team left match, so there was little else to do).
When there was 2 seconds left on the countdown I suddenly remembered I had equipped my fully stocked Proto Logi suite...
Note to self: Switch to BPO before deliberately suiciding

A tank kills my proto logi suit
So I spend the rest of the match dying repetitively running around the map with AV.
I swear, it's like shotgun scouts know exactly where you are even if you're 500 meters away from the objective.
I'm just trying to kill this tank, leave me the **** alone dammit
Oh wait, now we're redlined because I wasn't supporting the team
And I only got 400 wp

Every time I take off too soon in my ADS and hit the RDV or ascend to quickly and hit the underside of the MCC.

-Thought to myself "I better get rid of this before someone sets it off."
-Ran up to the RE

So I was running with logi support on the meat grinder (domination). They had the objective. My team wasn't really pushing, just sitting by the doors shooting whoever they can.
So I turned to my logi support and told him i'm going balls deep. Now I thought he said 'Allons-y' as this guy is a huge Doctor Who fan. Turns out, he said BRB, not be right back but B-R-B...

It could be worse.
I wanted to learn how to fly an ADS at one point, and created an Alt to skill into them.
Instead of trying to practice with a regular, reasonably priced DS first, I wasn't thinking and went ahead and purchased an extremely expensive ADS for my first flight.
It ended as a smarter person would reasonably expect. Quickly and expensively.

Nah but in-game the stupidest thing I've ever done was probably speccing Plasma Cannons the day they were released. That was really, really dumb of me. I should have known better.

I placed a Re on the ground and accidentally press the Boom-Boom button killing myself.
Not listen to instincts and die 5 times for every kill.

I tried putting a small blaster on an incubus to see if this hotfix hotfix hotfixed them enough
First, I chased around a gunnlogi and stripped off its shields, twice. Once while it was hardened.
Overheated/lost tracking on him before I could chew through the armor, but still.
Then, I shredded a pro assault swarmer on a rooftop while he was laughing hysterically at the blaster incubus hovering in front of him
I was so shocked at that second one that I brought up the chat channels midair so I could spam "wtf GUYS I ACTUALLY KILLED SOMETHING WITH A BLASTER INCUBUS" while my unattended incubus careened into the ground and rolled over
Then a scout killed me while I tried to recall it  |
