I logged into DUST today with the intention of experiencing the new hotfix.
For background information about the status of my DUST game, this is a relatively fresh install, having been reinstalled late April.
Upon joining a squad, I was mysteriously unable to join comms properly. I could see the green bubbles coming up in squad chat, and people in squad chat could hear me talk, but I could not hear them. After restarting, this issue was resolved - however, this is not the first time I have had this issue and I do not believe it to be an issue with my headset as I have successfully used variants of this headset with DUST for 2 years. I tested two different ones in case, but neither worked before restarting.
After restarting, I queued for a match with squadmates. Midway through this match, I was talking to squadmates when the comms suddenly cut out. Game sound was still active, and the green light for squad chat was on to indicate that I was in squad chat, however I could not hear comms and I could not hear the background noise associated with comms. It is my belief that nobody else could hear me either, as attempts to have a squadmate acknowledge me with an in game movement failed.
The match finished. It is worth noting at this point that this match was uneven - by the end, our team was approximately twice the size of the enemy team and this lead to a very dull match.
Having completed this match, I restarted. I rejoined my squad, which reactivated comms.
I then attempted to restock a Freedom Mass Driver individually. A loading icon appeared, but nothing happened for approximately 3 minutes (measured by the matchmaking queue clock) at which point I received an error message informing me that the Freedom Mass Driver was not on the market. This is, as it happens, untrue and does not appear to be an issue with that item on the market - I was able to restock it later.
A second attempt to restock it at this point, however, yielded a similar result with a notable problem occurring during the time that the loading icon was visible. My squadmates reported that they were deploying into a match - my matchmaking clock said that I was still queueing for a match.
I talked with concerned squadmates for a few more minutes while the loading icon remained present and I was frozen in a state of being unable to do anything, at which point I received an internal error.
I restarted.
I joined squad. This returned an error message informing me that the squad was not found and that they were in battle alternately as I attempted to accept invites.
The squad reformed. I was able to join it successfully upon reformation. I successfully restocked items at this point as well.
We queued. Most of the squad received a message informing us we were deploying, but a squadmate reported that they had received a Scotty error.
The remainder of the squad backed out and I received an internal error. I restarted at this point.
I logged back in. I received an internal error.
I don't even know what to say anymore.

I keep dropping frame rates, started like 2 days ago I can't play a match without it being like old PC..I reinstalled dust a week ago. The only game in my PS3 is dust the others are on Xbox one or ps4.. I can't have fun when this is happening it just irritates me I rage then get off and do anything else...recently I got into playing with my rubber ducks in the bath as that's more fun at this point.

My game is running great since the update. Little to no lag and Ive only dced once where the console pooped itself.

While I certainly had it particularly bad, I was not nearly the only person in squad to be experiencing problems.

Millennium-long loading wheels, freezes, crashes, DCs (especially on pressing X or Start), bugged voice every night recently. Had several of those "not on the market"s yesterday, but none today. Additionally, a squadmate kept getting DC'd when attempting to restock a specific weapon.

This is basically exactly what I had for an hour and a half until I gave up.

My install is recent, too, fwiw, which makes me wonder if it's something different somewhere in the current client dl vs my original (I'm talking August 2012!) download. I hadn't had many of those issues in a long time until I defragged, restored PS3 and reinstalled a few weeks ago, and the patch seems to have exacerbated them. Mr. Bones' Wild Loading Wheel is a new one, though.
Reality is the original Rorschach.

I had these problems before I did a reinstall (which was of similar age). I'm now complaining because I'm getting them afterwards too...

It's very strange people have so many problems?
Is it the different PS3 models? Internet?
I have little to no problems with Dust and hardly any lag (even when playing Prima Gallicus).
Although, I did get one internal error while loading one map, but they are even rarer.
Live in Europe and have a PS3 slim (not ultra slim) with a hybrid 750 Gb (8gig SSD) HDD, with roughly 30Mbit VDSL line.
