I only ever used one to jump on top of crates, never had the chance to use more than one, guess I won't ever again. If what I heard from squad mates were correct, they're annoyed because it looked a bit cartoonish due to lack of proper animation and the enemy abused the mechanic like a quick escape button while also spamming with high damage AOE weapons like the mass driver or plasma cannon. I don't have a problem with it of course since my targets would have so little ehp they would be easy to kill.
Why not just keep the super jumps but add a 'charge' mechanic to it to reduce jump spam? A tap would mean a normal jump and holding the button would increase jump height

God what I wouldn't give for self updating books Trying to keep track of Wizards fixes to rules is a damn nightmare, or at least it was back when I tried to keep up with it haha. You play DnD?

I used to play it religiously, I haven't had the chance to play in years though. I DMd mostly, I like to keep things cruel but fair I never Dm'd, can't come up with a good plot. UsuallyI'd play with friends during Thursdays but finals came up. Would be nice if we could play a dust related game

Would be nice if we could play a dust related game There's a new online DMing tool to run campaigns that's being made through kickstarter, it's not pretty but it looks like it nails down most of the basics. I think it runs on 5th edition which I haven't tried yet, too damn poor for that lol, but it could be worth keeping an eye on. My plots were never all that great but I have excellent combat sequences that move rapidly so that always seemed to be enough to keep people hooked. I use a lot of forced teleports and impossible odds to help guide my groups, cuz as a DM freeroaming annoys the hell out of me haha. The site I usually play in is called roll20.com, really cool too has purely random values for dice rolling.

I wonder if the sides in this argument would be reversed if jump mods ended up in low slots? "If you couldn't exploit it, I'm sorry (I'm not really, I'm just being disingenuous), I wonder if you'd be upset about having your ability to exploit it removed if you were actually exploiting it!" This I meaningless non-discussion. Stop making appeals to emotion, they're logical fallacies. What exactly is "it" that I am exploiting? AOE weapons, escape button, hard to reach places that is supposed to be the role of dropships all that fun stuff

Or are you making a subjective opinion as well? you can read one of the many displeased topics people have made about myos, just hit up the search tab and write myofibrils. You just see what you want to see don't you?
