Seriously... what do you do? Nearly 60 million SP, and I'm kind of dry on ideas here. I've tried just about everything in this game, from melee to double plasma cannon fits to nova knives only. Tanks are still boring, scrambler pistols are dull, the inability to put more than three myofibrils on suits takes away what little joy was left from soaring through the skies like a majestic pile of clone batter. There's a distinct lack of fun sidearms at the moment, short of the nova knives, and those can only last so long. The cloak hinders now almost as much as it helps. Ewar is kind of crap on minjas... Did I mention tanks were still boring compared to what they used to be?
Just don't know what to do at this point. Ever since I started playing this game, I had something to look forward to, even if it was just an enjoyable romp on the fields of justice with my trusty assault scrambler pistol, space cowboy style, but now...? Now I can't really think of anything I want that badly, or at all. I'm once more out of fun things to do or work towards speccing into. It's not even a matter of taking a break anymore, it's just that there's no playstyle left I really enjoy. Sure, I could turn on aim assist, load up a full proto suit and go on a killing spree, massacre every clone in sight and call it a day, but... that's not really entertaining. Dust has almost always been about those crazy loadouts for me, about constantly acquiring new ways to make them crazier and working towards the next nutty fit, but it seems I've finally eaten every can of mixed nuts available and now I'm left with empty shells.

I've been off of Dust for nearly a month though. Been back for about... four days now... and I'm already back to this point... maybe I will burn some of the officer gear though... Problem is, most of what I want to use I can't spec into at the moment. Still... then again, given how much I've been raging at this game lately, I'm not sure if that would help or make it worse.

Any suggestions? Because if it sounds stupid and worthless and makes you go "WTF, why would he run that?!" I've probably already tried it.

When you took your break did you also break from the forums? Because that helps. You might need a palate cleanser game. I started playing Endless Legend. Completely difference genre of game, on a different platform. Play it for a while then come back in time for Warlords 1.2 or 1.3.
Nah, was checking up on them almost every day... I have issues. Maybe I should go finish Uncharted 3 for awhile... or start up a new Skyrim profile.

Find a friend to play along with....what makes this game fun for me is the emerging player market and all the guys in our corporation and now alliance. Its the close victories, crushing losses and big laughs that make this game fun, plus all the cool stuff Rattati is adding. You liked to play space cowboy? Find another ASCR pistol enthusiast and run together on the map running and gunning! There is a lot of fun to be had in this game....you just gotta look for it and talk and be social and laugh and tell jokes and hear jokes and be awful and amazing at the same time. My two cents, bro o7
You guys need to have mics on more often. Seems like Z is one of the few who has his on consistently... And Dreis needs to stop listening to music and plug his in!
