I'm seeing terrible things moving on the battlefield.
For the moment i've only changed normal damage mod with krin lex and changed equipment with compact hives, but there is a lot of free space.

The thing is, as soon as you replace a module, you have to pay for that module. Unless you use a bpo, but the only bpo higher than standard level is the kirin's. |

I spent 50$ before I found out they were uneditable, so gimping the CPU/PG seems like a fair change.

I'll have to do some testing before I call it "slightly inferior."
I have a lot of proficiency skills trained up, so you might be right, but I'm stuck at work so I can't try it...I really hope they don't just take it away after teasing us with customizable APEX suits. Customized fits are the great strength of this shooter, and locked fits diminished that aspect of the game. Constraints are more fun than locks.

This is exactly my objection.
They may not be the equivalent of a protosuit, but they're not going to be that far off. Hell, if you stick on all BPOs it'll still be a very strong suit.

This is just a random fit, i haven't even tried it, but it's very similar to an adv fit, so slightly inferior to a proto fit, yes maybe not slightly, but certainly not intended for an APEX suit.
