Not effect climbing ladder speed? If there designed to increase your running speed (and hense how fast your arms/legs move) why can't they also keep you moving quickly up and down ladders faster? they are meant to keep you mobile afterall

how is that better? custom fitting suits for certain maps is an intrinsic part of this game. some maps have more ladders and a starting fit should be able to move around faster to get into position, its how every match starts. your way of doing it takes less work and gives everyone's fit equal footing. thats not the point of this game

Why dont cloaks shimmer while going up ladders? You're moving like an enraged epileptic monkey going up the thing but you are 100% invisible.
Ladder interactions are an afterthought to CCP, thats the answer to both our questions (and both of these things should be fixed). |

I think ladder climbing is more a simple animation in of itself then anything else. That is to say, it isn't affected by skills or modules because it is a set animation loop, i say this because when someone nears the top of a ladder, their character is still trying to grab thin air as they get that last few inches up to transition back to normal. I would like though, the ability to automatically begin climbing as soon as I touch the ladder, much like battlefield. I hate that I have to hit a button. |
