Is it just me or am I the only one that is slightly annoyed when you are door gunner, the turret snaps from one side or the other whenever the pilot has to maneuver? Is this working as intended, am I missing a setting somewhere in the game, or is it CCP's sneaky way to lol at the gunner for fragging himself with his own missile =P .

They can care less about Drop ships, The ADS, and the LAV from my understanding. Go in tanks if you want Dev Support.

Missiles=area of effect(killer on troops from above i.e. dropship mounted) rail=large target slow firing charge precision fire( killer on troops horizontally i.e. tank mounted) blaster=close range fast firing support fire ( killer on troops horizontally i.e. tank and lav mounted)

I appreciate the reply but I think you missed the point of the question. I was wondering if anyone else was annoyed at how the side mounted turrets snap from left to right as the pilot maneuvers the dropship.

Yeah, I wish there was a button to lock the turret at its current position. So if the pilot says "lock up" or "hold on" the gunner doesn't accidentally frag himself. Why CCP even made it so you could hit yourself in a dropship is beyond me, should have kept it as it was. And if your flying caldari, that f******* fin! Am I right?
