Are 740 Aurum. Which comes down to about $4.11 in Eve Aurum terms.
The skins are tier-based and a lot of the ships are spread between different tiers depending on the skin. The general gist of the tiers is on the ship size, so Frigates are generally cheaper while Battleships and Capital Ship skins can get pretty expensive, but bearing in mind that they're permanent and you can change them out on the fly, it's worth the value (to some).
Assuming you only purchase $5 Aurum packs, this is basically what the values are like.
740au - $4.11 1,095au - $6.08 1,540au - $8.55 1,965au - $10.91 2,390au - $13.27 2,820au - $15.66 3,455au - $19.19 4,300au - $23.88 6,500au - $36.11
You guys are like a broken record with this "CPM material" business xD Let it go

I'm assuming you have some other agenda for posting this information, seeing as how it has nothing to do with Dust.
What are you trying to argue? That we pay too much?

I'm still not paying a single dime on SKINs until they are 10k Aur ($5) a piece. Then I will most likely throw $50 at CCP
$10 is a joke.
Rattati, if you are reading this, people like me would rather spend $50 on 10 SKINs, than $10 on one.

Not surprising.
Personally its not ~just~ because the prices seem a little off, it's also unfair I feel to pay more for a skin, that I dont even find personally that likeable, than I would for a BPO suit.
I also don't even know what it is going to look like, especially when applied to different suits. At least not in game anyway.
You are half way there CCP, the initiative is great, I just cant agree with pricing.

I will like to point out before it gets confusing.
Tier based is for pricing based on the size of the ship.
Pricing is per skin, which is per ship. A Thorax, Demios, Vigilant, Phobos, Navy Thorax, and all variant ships are all based off the thorax and a skin bought for the rax cannot be used on any of its cousins or any other ship for that manner (minus bug)
At least our skins can be used on all frames designated a medium C skin can fit on any Militia, Adv, Proto, officer basic dropsuit, assault dropsuit, logistics dropsuit series.

Perhaps entertainingly, with the $4 for the frigate skins, you can apply those skins to any ship in game. Want a police pursuit Nyx? You can do that.

Yeah right thats why on eve there is a bug that allows you to apply any skin to any ship size. Its just greed to charge 10 quid for a purely cosmetic item which you can only apply to a certain suit category. If for example my blood raider caldari BPO suit gets splitted into a skin and the suit itself i would like to be aible to apply that skin to any suit in the game. Be it a caldari scout or a amarr heavy. If CCP is charging 10 quid for a skin then it should better be applyable to all suits in the game.
Ya know charging alot of money is one thing but to limit that aswell only to a certain suit familiy is just silly. And dont come at me with "oh but we have to recode everything then". Im not buying that at all cause ya wanna know why? Cause of the M.A.G. inspired suits. All 3 skin variantions (valor, raven and sver) are avaible for 3 races (Galente,Caldari and Minmatarr). I can have a Minmatarr Raven assault just aswell as a Caldari Raven assault. Obviously it is possible to apply any skin to any suit in the game. CCP would sell more skins if they would allow that from the get go.
Dont come with the lore cause we have Roden sniper rifles, Ishukone SMG's and other stuff which would make no sense within the eve lore. We have minmandos who get a bonus to swarm launchers which are a caldari weapon and minmatarr scouts which get a bonus to caldari manufactured nova knifes. Half of the weapons which the minmatarr use is probs made by the caldari which in return are allies with the amarr. Dunno about you but i wouldnt count on a ally who delivers the enemy weapons.

IDK about EVE, but Dust is one of the games where cosmetics cost more. I understand that we have only few SKINs, so they have to gain on those, but if it was me, i would have created a lot of different SKINs, even not related to lore, purely cosmetic, then proceed to sell them for 3 to 5 Gé¼.

Im gonna pul the COD card where camos/exo skins "only" cost 1.99$. Weapon camos can be applied to all weapons wiithin the game. Now please elaborate why i should pay 10 quid for a skin while the AAA publisher only charges 1.99$ for basically the same thing. Both are FPS games, both feature cosmetic options to buy. Seriously CCP you should first off look around what the prices are for stuff like that on other competetive games.
2$ would be optimal 5$ i could tollerate 10$ is just a greedy attempt to make a quick buck
Lower pricetag= more sales. More sales= more cash for CCP and a happy comunity. More Cash= potential further development on dust/legion/project pants on head.

Paying for subscription AND skins, is less than just paying for skins, so they increased the price in Dust. |

Vanity items in other F2P games are usually around $3 - $7. Why CCP thinks SKINs are worth $10 is beyond me. They are cool looking, don't get me wrong, but they are not worth $10.
