But that's the thing, you fight purely (hopefully) for a faction, you can either run "pure" faction fits or whatever it takes to win.
I don't mind the whole RP thing, as I have a pure State suit stock in my fittings, but half of my assaults, logistics, and scouts run scanners -- the other half runs links -- which strays from the RP conventions.
And honestly, I have level 9 standings with Caldari and I try keeping Caldari channels alive, and I bring in players who like to play Caldari as well.
But I've played Gallente with corpmates. I'm not gonna throw a tantrum and say, "No, damn the Gallenteans." And even then, I don't TK or mess with comms.
So when someone boots a player from a channel when they jokingly say "I is spai guize", I mean sure it's funny, but some people take it a tad too serious.
