Why, because when was the last time its been tweaked? It has a low rof, slow reload, small magazine, and only a slight increase in damage.The only thing its good for is 1-2 shotting people, but the extra damage isn't worth it when I can simply get out 3 shots with the reg shotgun in the same time w/o all the downfalls the breach has. Probably the least used weapon in dust next to the burst scrambler pistol., but still my favorite weapon. So, devs give it some attention and buff the damn thing. Maybe just more damage or a normal reload time or give it the capability to 1 shot people with a charge shot like nova knives.
My current breach shotgun fit: M.k0 assault, allotek breach, 2 dmg mods,2 extenders, damp,2 reactive plates, kincat.
Petition to ban the trainyard map.

To be honest the breach shotgun should be like a double barrel shotgun. Basically no need for the pump action after each shot.
Bright is the opposite of dark! Who would have thought of that?!

the breach should shoot explosive balls of plasma, and have like 3 shots, not as strong as the plasma cannon but still pretty ridiculously awsome...and keep the slow reload and RoF

Can't really fix the breach shotgun without creating a redundancy.
Either the regular shotgun is better at its job, or the breach is. One of these two is going to be inferior whether its intended to be or not.
I would recommend the regular shotgun gets a role change so that it fires less damaging but longer range slugs for hallway and interior fighting, and the breach becomes the defining stick-it-in-his-face-and-fire shotgun.
Usually banned for being too awesome.
