I have had two hard system restarts today, within about 30 minutes. The first was during a match about halfway thru. I was operating a tank and cycling the module wheel when it froze. I could not exit the game and there was no sound. I did a hard restart and after the file check I logged into my account on several alts to claim warbarge items. While logging into the second account I also got a hard freeze after selecting the player but before the item assignment screen. I haven't seen a hard restart for DUST in several builds so either i'm really lucky, my PS3 has an issue just with DUST or warlords is more prone to hard freezes. Anyone else had an increase in these with this build?

If you have too many chat channels, this is a known bug, also try uninstalling the game and reinstall this also helps get rid of unnecessary files.
And if it's happening to multiple accounts it could be that CCP having server issues.
Not trying to be a **** but this is just a joke, it could also hate you.

I've been freezing for months and haven't been able to finish more than 2 games at best. I generally freeze in my merc quarters while claiming warbarge browsing suits, or doing nothing. I can't figure it out.
I've tried everything suggested and nothing has helped.
I hope things don't get worse for you. |

Yep Pretty sure dust hates me, just froze in under 2 minutes couldn't even claim warbarge .... |

How old is your ps3 system?the older your system is,the less performance you have as it ages,I've had to reinstall firmware twice, the original HDD because my HDD circuit board bit the dust,had extra 250gb HDD I saved just in case,now I have 2 HDD left,one 120 GB,and another 250gb,electronics components slow down and become less efficient as they age,for instance,your CPU may start out fast when new,but as it ages with continued use,it becomes slower,eventually it will reach the end of its component life and "Break".nothing last forever.

I've been gettin fatal error messages not a lot but enough to make it annoying I have a newer ps3 I think its mostly the warlord update has holes in the code that need to be filled its a lot harder to improve a game than it is to make a game. |

Same hard freeze issue experienced again today @ 1:28 PM CST (18:28 5/15 EVE time).
Operating a tank and using the module selection wheel when the game froze with no sound. In this case I was under attack and taking damage at the time, I can't recall if I was taking damage the last hard freeze, I will keep an eye out in the future.

Also ps3 is harder to work with when coding,i thinkk some bugs cant be fixed while its on the ps3 platform,that's why they need to move dust to PC,because its scalable,meaning its easier to fix,and not as many bugs,that's why when project legion comes out,and ps3 is shut off the psn permanently, I'm switching to PC,if legion comes out,either way,dust will eventually have to be shut down when the ps3 is removed from psn,that's the problem with consoles,they don't last forever,eventually they become obsolete.

Ok I've had this problem for a long time and it seems to be the display settings for me if I'm on 1080p I can't play the game.
I accidentally left it on whatever default eas after a restart and the game worked flawlessly although not pretty to look at it is functional. Been to busy to test where it fails, but I verified it crashes instantly at 1080 this morning
And yes it's an older PS3 |

That makes sense drake. Probably can't keep up with the high resolution anymore |
