enemy has 1 clone, your side has 4...and then a core locus nade falls out the sky like a hawk on it's prey...killing 4 of you at once
I had to stop myself from getting pissed and just laugh.
good match whoever you were , that was pretty damn close ambush
anyone else got matches that seemed to be in the bag stole from them at last second? |

I'd be more impressed if you said Plasma Cannon.
Or Forge Gun.
Or Mass Driver.
Hell, I'd have been even more impressed if you said Remote Explosives because then someone would have had to get within tossing range.
This is about par for the course, unfortunately, imo.

Core nades are lame. All a scout needs to do is flank a blob and chuck. Even RE's take greater risks in placing it inside hostile territory.
That said, I play CFW, and more often than not, we snatch the win at the last second, and the Gallenteans go WTF.  They be running proto or officer, and we just kamikaze in our STD suits.

actually, I don't play ambush all that much. For that very reason, and no not always as the losing side. That is pretty much how most go though , every now and then there's a good close match like this one. |
