Currently we have the bandwith system in place to prevent insane equipment spam. However i kinda feel that the max active count for equipment itself is redundant. For example i can carry 5 proto drop uplinks but only 2 of them can be active, to bypass this i need to carry a different kind of drop uplink. In my opinion there should be no limit of how many drop uplinks you can throw onto map. The limiting factor of bandwith is allready there to stop people from putting 30+ uplinks out.
Proto logis have a max bandwith of 36 (amarr). That equals 9 uplinks active at a time. Just change the max active count on uplinks, nanohives and remotes/proxys to infinite. That way logis can make actuall use of the amount of equipment they carry around.
Bright is the opposite of dark! Who would have thought of that?!

This was a change to stop the very thing you want to do. We called it equipment spamming.
It bogs down the game.
My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.

No the bandwith itself allready stops that. No need to limit equipment usage with "max active" counts ontop of it.

If I am correct, I'm worried that it will be the same as having unlimited ammo. Each time someone is able to find and destroy the Uplink or Nanohive she deployed,GǪ she can just keep plopping down a replacement, and another, and another.
Part of the challenge of carrying those equipment-items is that you only have "X" with you---and better use them wisely.
I think that challenge is good, and should remain.
