To be honest with you I could see that the HAV's would be stronger with this next installment and that's what basically got me to fall for this game was the HAV interaction and usage but it's nothing like it was pre 1.7 when it was much more interactive and the bonuses were more along the lines of infantry bonuses but now you can't win a HAV v.s HAV battle without turret play , I mean you can but you would have a tough time seeing as how most of the top tankers just don't solo drive and I play solo and when I fit MCRU's on my HAV's I for the most part get people that spend most of the ammo shooting at the air among other things and then when I'm approached by other HAV's they bail after spending most of that turret ammo , very rare to find a good turret operator seeing as how I play solo and I'm not in a notable corp , maybe if I tried to make friends then it would be different but I just don't like to hear or deal with the B.S. that I've noticed when and while in a squad and I just don't like whiners who complain about when they die .
I like to fight and those who fight tough and not those who just have to use PRO every match so as you can tell , I might just end my dust experience as a solo player , add the fact that there talking about getting rid of skirmish which is my favorite mode and I might just leave this game afterwards .
I was about to do another respec and speck out of vehicles besides ADS's because I can kill HAV's so easy while flying that I just don't understand why other pilots have such a problem and I have zero problems avoiding swarms as well because I know how to outrun them and I get right back to doing what pleases me , this game is full of whiners that want it their way and that's what got me to do as many respec's as I have so that I could learn about the mechanics of this game and what makes what tick . The fact that there talking about getting rid of skirmish stopped that but I would love to get back into a heavy suit and FG again because that was fun for me and with so many vehicle users now it's more worth while .
Make it easy for yourself and get some dedicated turret gunners and you will notice the difference I promise you , add some skill to that through practice and you will realize who to take on and what to and not to do as far as HAV driving , trust me but since you don't have the SP investment you need some gunners , it would make your experience that much better to start .

Hey OP , message me in-game and I would ride with you or you can ride with me or we both together and you would see the difference in having a good gunner or another HAV , having your back .
The only thing that's turning me off about HAV's was how excited I was after seeing the conception art for the Amarr and Minmatar HAV's and now we can't get those besides re-skinned Cal and Gal HAV's and yes I understand what was said but that's not stopping them from adding SKIN's , new modes and features ... the same time there doing that they could have put that effort into racial vehicles as well and that's just my opinion about that but I'm sure someone will tell me that I'm wrong and explain why so ... but message me and I got your back , I have to get another mic so that will suck but other then that I got your back if you need it from the land or the air .
