Why? Because its a constantly shifting front line. Scouts reach the point first to hack and delay the enemy. Assaults approach at range and engage. Logis show up to pplace equipment, uplinks andsupport the assaults. Heavies bring up the rear and dominate in point defense.
And yet, you can't just sit in camp one point all day long. If your not ready to move and react to the changing battle, you'll be on the losing end.
Not to say it doesn't have its flaws. Right now the timers seem to be a best of three, would much rather see a best of seven. As in hold 4 hack points minimum to get the PT units to win, and an even match to involve at most seven possible changes in hack points. Right now, if two points are closer to one side, the win will be handed over to the the team on that side. Got to remove that from the equasion.
Also, more supply depots to deal with roaming vehicles without having to die to change to AV.
Lastly, end with the redline hack points, which are being worked on.
Its much better than zerg mode ambush, camping the letter in domination, or the team splitting off to who knows which letter in skirmish. I like how protstomping means a whole lot less, because the clones dont matter for the win. KD chasers aren't going to gain much traction if they don't know anyother way to win.
Though i made a post just the other day talking about how exhausted I am with dust, aquisition is, well, not bad. A few more tweaks and it might even be fun.

I actually hate the new game mode, it is hard to get scouty in it. I have to resort to my sentinel ways. Along with other crap that's been said already in other threads.[/quote]
I understand, that where the increase in hack points comes into play. Scouts have a very good role in the beginning of the match, but since it takes only two hack points to win, theres not too much for the non slayer scout to do. If the hack points changed more often and in more random places, scouts would be invaluable.
Hopefully this is somthing the devs can tweak without a client update.
