Everyone always has an opinion, but for once let's take a step back vet's and appreciate what Dust514 is, and how far it has come!
This is the reason I am a gamer, this is the only reason I play Dust: the promise of immortality, power, and progression. The fact that the hundreds of hours spent playing will not be forgotten unlike most other games make your time spent of no value when the next update comes around; other games you have to start your progress all over again when a sequel arises. I love the fact that whether you have skills or money, both sides are equally restrained by one factor: time! No matter how hard one tries or how much money one puts into the game, you won't be at my level in a matter of weeks! This value/respect towards the player's time investment is appreciated. This is true for every long time Vet of Dust514 and I salute you all o7.

The level of customization has always been huge. Mercs are like tiger-zebra-snowflake-spindas because of that.
There's also the addictive system of losing your **** whenever you die.
Too bad FW isn't as popular as it should be. Adding the link to eve players can be REALLY interesting, because you become aware of a second battle right above your own. It may be a setback, but it's always kindof cool to hear your eve-side buddy say "oh ****, I gotta gtfo"

This^ . And the 1 in a 100 battles not effected by lag/latency/lol optimization/time zone/village. Played once this month and took 5 minutes to get into a half filled ambush already over. Yes the bitter is real. I miss this game and I also hate it. Is that something to like about Dust? =ƒÿé glhf
