 It'd be fun to sky spawn, but risky depending on your PS3 hardware. Some people take a little longer to load all visual assets at spawn, so while you have a black screen, you character is supposed to be standing on the ground. Except with a gate switch like the one in this video, your screen would be loading up while you're already falling to the ground. If the exit portal was high enough to the flight ceiling that probably wouldn't be much of an issue.

 Teleporters are now here for the general population to test. And the gate camping is perfectly fine. Dust bunnies are not used to practices of navigating gate camps.
 
 "FC is trans-dimensional gate green?"
 "No, it is not. Gate is red pending intel."
 "What do FC?"
 "Cloaky scout, cloak up, crouch and sneak in. Move to perch 30m off gate and observe."
