LOL Confirmation that Rattati doesn't actually play this game. What makes you say that? I've actually seen him in game, and on top of that, his statement isn't wrong. Don't like vehicles everywhere? Bring AV and kill it. then die and get back in your AI suit and kill more people. We all have (or had) a militia swarm suit handed to us when we started the game, it still works. This would be OK if AV were effective against tanks, and they aren't. You practically need a full squad working simultaneously for just one tank, and if you have multiples, or one to two mercs picking off easy AV pickings at the same time? You might as well quit the battle and find a different match. That isn't balanced, that is broken.
I just solo'ed a Gunlogi with my STD swarms + STD AV nades today, no hives needed. HAV wasn't damaged, nor did the pilot get himself suck on nor run into any object.
Granted that fit can't touch a double repped double hardened Maddy (those passive reps need to get changed to active IMO) but I kill and/or drive off vehicles all the time in my STD fit, and semi-frequently in my Minja Republic/APEX
Do I die? Sure that happens, about 2/3rd of the time, and sometimes it takes more than one deploy to take out a vehicle (esp DS with a clever pilot or high meta HAVs) but it's quite doable.
CPM 1 mail me your feedback and remember to have fun!

I've both downed and lay proto maddy's waiting to ambush them when their hardners went down using basic plc and packed av nades. Feed him points? More like farm av points gg

But
PT- read announcements because they said officer and experimental are the only things that will be tradable in the beginning.
And matchmaking, I know this may seem harsh, but try to get good. I can stomp protos with militia gear, only because I'm pretty good. Not as good as all my other veteran bretheren, but I'm still good. I can't do the strafe wiggle crap because I don't understand how its done and also I think wiggling like a worm and dancing is a b$tch move...its something a sissy does instead of having a manly gun vs gun mono e mono showdown like a man So you're going to complain about being stomped and then refuse to strafe for some kind of video game honor? smh |

Welcome to New Eden =ƒÿÿ We pay trade tax in Eve to just so you know. Only when you go through the actual market. Direct player to player trades aren't taxed.
I got a lot of stuff you want and could just have if it weren't for the trade tax.

If one tank maddy can do that, why would anyone run anything else?
If you can use standard gear on another tank, and kill it, with a maddy being immune to practically anything, what do you expect to see more of on the field?
Tactics mean little when the odds are so unevenly stacked.

Basically what ratti said on # 4
Have a couple support fits ready - uplinks, nanohives, rep tool.
It's actually a good idea to always have a rep tool on you, this way as you take damage you can rep someone else for wp while you recover
Try to get in a squad in the battle even if you prefer to play alone, you will possibly benefit from their passive scans.
You can alter your starter fits to keep things cheap
I also recommend using the militia Amar light frame, militia Caldari heavy, & militia minmatar heavy
We all get crushed by proto squads and tanks, when things aren't going well in a match just remember war points will always be your friend |
