I thought there were only gonna give us Minmatar/Amar HAVs. Am i missing something here, cause I've seen nothing regarding Minmatara/Amar LAVs or Dropships.
But on topic of LAVS, I found a pretty good methana fit that can withstand a little damage. ie: 1 A/V nade. Only thing is this costs 100k+ and still gets wrecked by swarms which is to be expected.
Perhaps reducing costs?
Improving acceleration for better mobility? |

What about the LAV operation skill itself? I remember my Limbus had a skill that gave something like 2% resistance to damage/level.
This would be a nice little buff that would reward training LAV skills. |

Yes, this was an attempt to reduce the Sentinal/LAV combo that was a serious problem. And probably to reduce the kamikaze attacks on HAVs.
The only thing is, they were nerfed so incredibly hard to the point they aren't exactly viable as Light Attack Vehicles. I mean i used to have tons of fun riding around mowing fools down with a blaster methana. Or throwing down explosive support with a missile saga.
These play styles are still viable, barely. But the fact that it cost 100k+ for a LAV capable of this, only to be blown up by a MLT swarm launcher/Plasma cannon/basic av nade which is available to EVERYONE, is well, beyond frustrating. |
