I'm I the only one or does it seem like people are willing to throw those away for basically nothing, considering their rarity. 200k for a weapon (officer)?? More like 500k per. And the suits, those are far rarer! Like a million a pop at the very least.
I dunno. Am I missing something?!

I'm level 3 on my lab now, and you RARELY get a suit out of it. But even if you have accumulated over 100 at this point, it's nothing to blow right though those in less than a week. If anything, usage will go way up with them, making for higher demand, while still having a low supply regardless of how much has been accumulated.
I mean just pop over and check officer gear on EVE, the prices are far and above those of the normal variants. True I don't understand EVE very well, and this may not correlate, but this gear is still extremely limited. I feel like people are just trying to make a quick buck!
And my gear has been accumulated over 2 years worth of playing + that lab. And at maybe 250 combined of everything I have, it's not much for the time it took to get it. You crazy people are lowballing this stuff WAY too much.

Well, considering my personal inventory of officer gear, I can't imagine there is THAT much out of there. It took me quite some time to accumulate what I have. The barge does help but they are still incredibly rare compared to comparable proto gear which is easily replaced and ALWAYS available.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that once the market stabilizes, prices will be quite a bit higher than what many are asking. And considering the lab takes more components than you can make in a day from your factory at max level, officer gear will become quite rare.
Assuming people start using it far more frequently than of current.

Doubtful on that price. We will most certainly see, but it's hard for me to see it playing out like you describe.
