Jeez... I've been bouncing around through various stages lately... Forge Gun, AmScout, and now Logi...
I am liking it! It fells so good to stick my needle into dyeing mercs and pick them up, then train my glorious golden beam upon their body. lol.
But seriously, it feels good to help others out, and even better when there are enemies and I clear them away with my Mass Driver so I can pick someone up. At the same time, it hurts to not be able to pick someone up.
Nonetheless, I am liking MinLogi very much, and NO! I will not be stuck up a heavie's bumhole the entire match, that's not how I function.

I've been running logi a lot lately myself and have been enjoying it as well. My only problem is I can't stand running with only 3 equipment slots so I've got to run the proto min all the time but I also don't like running subpar equipment. So I've got as much of it proto as I can right now, just missing links. I might lose out on a few WP's from repping people I pick up but I don't play for the WP's.

3 eq works for me... though I know once I get proto... never mind, I won't use it much.
I run Militia nanite with my BDR... I should probably up it to the KIN.

Never was really a logi person, because every squad couldn't keep me alive. They're costly too.
I somewhat regretted getting Logistics G/1, because of how weak it was and how reliant it was on squads for WP's.
But I love link-spamming and nanohive delivery. Reptools are crazy WP earners.

I like to keep the injector handy for when people go down and I like to have the rep tool for repping; those two are no brainers for me. The hard part is deciding between ammo & links because neither one of them seem to be around when they're needed the most. Running to the depot to switch out isn't that great of an idea a lot of the time and it also removes you from the action where you could be picking up and/or repping people, so I don't like doing that. Dying is an option to switch out I often have forced upon me but the situation might change by the time I spawn back in; so it's just easier to bring it all on one suit.
I'm not really a fan of RE's; I've got them on my hacking scout but that's it.

I haven't put much playtime in since the first week of warlords, mostly just trying 1-2 ambush matches a day and hoping I win for the key
But an advanced min logi with 3x myo stims and 2x ferroscale/1x rep is one of my favorite suits right now. Still squishy, yet the massive increase in movement options helps it survive much better than stacked shield extenders ever could
pair it with a lai dai flux to have an easier time reaching blueberries from high ground/air, and get familiar with your jump height and all the new paths you can take through the map to get away from bad situations |

Have you tried a speed/shields/damp logi fit? Basically you run in, pick people up, drop a nanohive, then run to the next group.
If you can fit a cloak, that works really well. If not, uplinks are really useful for getting deep into the enemy territory, then have a bunch of people flank from that spawn.
My old friend Xinera plays this really well, and I used to do it way back in the closed beta.
Shield mods in the highs (enhanced work fine, and don't increase your delay as much)
kin cat, damp, reactive, and/or regulator in the lows.

ever since I switched up from gal logi to minmatar logi , I been making good use of my dren logi bpo , it's an m-1 so the bonuses apply...at least I believe it does, seems to.
It would ber a very cheap fit , but I can't help myself but to stick a core rep tool on there so I can ***** wp from 2 people at once... I mean, ummm be a good logibro and help my blueberry patch succeed!
I used to run with the mass driver as a logi on a couple of my fits, but with playing more FW than anything else...and crazy blues who will run right into the path of destruction.. it doesn't turn out pretty. So didn't train that up again after the respec. |

I ran a shaman for 4 months straight. Now, I have min logistics at three, but I've got a ton of mk0s from min combat packs. I run reps/needles/hives/links. All extenders and plates. I put a kinkat on if I'm playing with Sebastian. I keep an ACR on it w/ flux nades, and I average 8 kills as a logi. >2500 is a lame match.
For all that I love being a logi, I've been obsessed with assault for the last month. I only logi now if there is a heavy and a point to defend, or if we are roaminging with a commando.

Not to mention that if you can run adv hives you should be running adv needles (if you have nanocircuitry to 4, run the X-3 quantum hives too)
But yeah, the shield/speed fit is going to be more squishy, but if you keep moving they won't be able to do much. A regulator is a must if you don't dual tank the minmatar though.
Pro-tip: the "medic" starter fitting has assault suit stats with a second equipment slot. Sure you don't get 3 slots, but you get a sidearm, a ton more ehp, and the base speed of the assault class...minus a high/low slot depending on race.
It may or may not be more effective than what you can build on a standard fit, but adv logi fits can easily outdo it. Just a cheap option for a really good suit.

I'm trying to make good use of my Sever logi, and it seems to be doing good. I swapped the militia nanite for a KIN on my M/1, though I haven't had much use of it so far, as I usually just go with basic.
However, as I have the K-17d hives, which are generally more useful; those or the X-3? I mean, I have a rep tool, so I can rep people while they resupply instead of the hives doing it. Nevermind, I'll go with the X-3s from now on.

When Myos came out and ruined my first few attempts at using my heavy in PCs I made a really fun Min Logi fitting!
Try this:
3 shield extenders
1 percision
2 Reds
1 Green
1 Damp
Shotgun or ACR
2 different types of REs
I went Boundless and Hateshard
1 K2 Nanohive
1 cloaking device
In the city I was leaving REs every where while racing around.
They eventually gave up because I just kept blowing everything up.
If they didn't die I sprinted up behind them and BAP!
I will say being in a heavy's bum has a pretty typical view so I see your dislike.
From Logi, to Heavy, to Scout, now I am moving to ADS. Please stop balancing!

I was referring to what you would spawn in. If the situation changed, you'd likely already be dead and needing to change suits.

K-17 triage are terrible because they require you to be at full health to resupply. Great for scouts that have more armor...but the resupply rate is way too low (lower than std nanohives), so unless you drop two at a time you'll be spending a lot of time waiting around for it to be effective.
...which isn't a bad tactic now that you can carry 6 of them, but they have a small pool of nanites compared to proto. If you aren't running a repair tool, then I'd consider them, but never if you have a repair tool handy.
As for the injector, only ever run them in squads or ambush. Other game modes will be a very rare occurance.
I say no mlt because mlt is 20/4 CPU/PG, while std is 15/2
But ever since the update to injectors that gives shield hp, and the update that increases wp gain for higher tiers of injectors, I almost never run std unless there is literally zero space on my suit.
