Jeez... I've been bouncing around through various stages lately... Forge Gun, AmScout, and now Logi...
I am liking it! It fells so good to stick my needle into dyeing mercs and pick them up, then train my glorious golden beam upon their body. lol.
But seriously, it feels good to help others out, and even better when there are enemies and I clear them away with my Mass Driver so I can pick someone up. At the same time, it hurts to not be able to pick someone up.
Nonetheless, I am liking MinLogi very much, and NO! I will not be stuck up a heavie's bumhole the entire match, that's not how I function.

Not to mention that if you can run adv hives you should be running adv needles (if you have nanocircuitry to 4, run the X-3 quantum hives too)
But yeah, the shield/speed fit is going to be more squishy, but if you keep moving they won't be able to do much. A regulator is a must if you don't dual tank the minmatar though.
Pro-tip: the "medic" starter fitting has assault suit stats with a second equipment slot. Sure you don't get 3 slots, but you get a sidearm, a ton more ehp, and the base speed of the assault class...minus a high/low slot depending on race.
It may or may not be more effective than what you can build on a standard fit, but adv logi fits can easily outdo it. Just a cheap option for a really good suit.
I'm trying to make good use of my Sever logi, and it seems to be doing good. I swapped the militia nanite for a KIN on my M/1, though I haven't had much use of it so far, as I usually just go with basic.
However, as I have the K-17d hives, which are generally more useful; those or the X-3? I mean, I have a rep tool, so I can rep people while they resupply instead of the hives doing it. Nevermind, I'll go with the X-3s from now on.
