This whole weekend I can play the US server for a while but then at some point I can't connect from the battle finder. 5 minutes...10 minutes. Nothing. But the EU server? 15 seconds. Player counts don't seem to matter.
These were all Craterlake Skirmish 32 player.

was having the very same issue, takes for ever to connect to us servers later at night but super easy to go to eu servers. but had no issue with us servers during the day. |

This happens regularly to me like clockwork after 7PM Mountain time or so... |

earlier in the day it's often easier for me (in Europe) to get on the US rather than EU battles - server load? |

Oddly, I had the battlefinder timing out for both EU and US fights that were in the bottom two or three. Since my market would stop working and I'd get a DNS errror when I restarted, I assume that I was somehow DCing on those tries to find battles. |

So, again last night. I couldn't get on to the US server, even though the EU server had a significantly higher player count than what was displayed for the US server.
must have been ~0200 to 0600 GMT
Happy to be able to play though (in between hard freezes) |

I've noticed that when this happens the US server player count is an even multiple of 32 players exactly as many as would fit in the allocated number of servers. I suspect something locks up when the system goes to allocate the next server but I can't prove it of course. Has anyone else seen the same thing?

Same, was just about to mention it myself after reading what everyone else posted so far today. Glad it's being discussed. Right now we're not exactly on the same server system as EVE though, probably some old equipment stuck in a disused lavatory with the stairs out and a sign saying beware of the panther. It'll hopefully be a lot better when we're actually connected to EVE, but in the meantime a few tweaks would be appreciated. |

I have had this problem as well, on ocasion it will connect after the 2nd try is canceled. very strange. Sometimes it is the Happens with the EU servers, but not as often and i have never had it happen to both at the same time. |

perhaps the us server is waiting until a minimum number of people have qued up to create a new game? If its an even multiple of 32 then all current games are full and new one will have to be created. Try waiting for 5 min see if you get a game |
