I would hope it helps - I'm pretty straight forward in everything, so if you get an endorsement by me it typically means you earned it.
Bonney is right - these mechanics can serve to cause a lot of harm to the player-base as scammers begin to rise, some may even rise to power and upset other balances that need upsetting, to be honest.
Which is why I'm for this addition and how they added it - it really 'feels' like a new eden mechanic, and opens up business and meta on many levels then compared to a simple direct trade with no fees.
It also lets people like you and me who've been around making friends and connections really put them to use. People who can be trusted will find there lives in this game improved by this mechanic - and certain names black listed as there scams go public.
I'm excited to see it all play out
