The only time I can recall it not being one sided was back in Chromosome. I used to say just turn off Scotty and go back to randomly throwing us in matches like in Chrome, but so much is different than from a year ago it might not work as good as I think. I still think Scotty should be killed; then replace him with Bobby so when he does something stupid we can make a TV reference.
I just realized I'm talking about a piece of programming as if it's a person.

I think vets are the ones most put out by the changes. I have seen threads with vets complaining that pubs are TOO competitive now, which cracks me up and underlines the problem matchmaking was meant to fix. I think it has largely worked with the biggest remaining issue is people leaving matches. I am a vet and I never have had such bad numbers. Running solo I'm getting lopsided games against stacked squads and games that are half over and already lost. I've even qued into the defeat screen at least 3 times today alone. It's not that we don't want a challenge, I hardly ever leave a game but this 1 sided **** is for the birds.
Yup, I have pretty much stopped playing solo because I kept being put into matches where I couldn't even spawn in before I got the defeat screen. It would take at least 2-4 attempts for me to get into a fresh match running solo most nights.
I've even taken to using squad finder. Apparently the majority of people who also use it are under 13 and think voice changers are hilarious.
This match in particular did not appear to have any squads on the enemy team, however there were 3 small squads on my side.
Matchmaking had actually been really good for a few days, and I'd been having fun in really close battles, but today was constant redlining by one side or the other.
I have also noticed that my 8.something mil SP alt has been being put in battles with full proto squads, whereas this account (26mil SP) has seen much, much less proto and far fewer organised squads when I have been playing solo. |

The lopsidedness is is spread more evenly now, hence the complaints. You hardly see newer players complaining anymore.
