Now how is this working as intended?

Now how is this working as intended? That sucks I guess. My matches have been remarkably balanced fights, with neither me stomping or getting stomped. Are you soloing? Don't do that.
Yes I was solo. I know a squad helps the situation but I thought the matchmaking tweaks were for newer players? Newer players don't have squads to join right off the bat.

Now how is this working as intended? I call BS... For one reason: You say you didn't receive ISK for not breaking the WP threshold. However, new toons are not subject to the threshold like vets are. Rest may be true, but credibility dropped. Not to say matchmaking isn't perfect though, but it is better, admit it or not.

I created a new toon on a new psn and got thrown to the sharks right after the academy. If all things mentioned above are factored into matchmaking then yes I had close to no warpoints, isk, sp, w/l, or k/d. So my credibility is just fine.

I think vets are the ones most put out by the changes. I have seen threads with vets complaining that pubs are TOO competitive now, which cracks me up and underlines the problem matchmaking was meant to fix. I think it has largely worked with the biggest remaining issue is people leaving matches.
I am a vet and I never have had such bad numbers. Running solo I'm getting lopsided games against stacked squads and games that are half over and already lost. I've even qued into the defeat screen at least 3 times today alone. It's not that we don't want a challenge, I hardly ever leave a game but this 1 sided **** is for the birds.
