Would love a medium range Amarr heavy laser to work as a wide solid beam. 1 second charge and overheat after 4 seconds with 3 second cooldown. High damage that is maintained from 15-70m with an immediate drop off thereafter. Reskinned forge gun firing an enlarge Laser rifle beam perhaps?
Gallente heavy weapon to be some kind of plasma ball launcher. Slight charge time (0.3 seconds), spits out a super heated ball of plasma which does ~500 direct damage & ~80 splash in a 3m radius from impact point. Fire rate around 60/min. Half the projectile range of the plasma cannon with 1.5x faster travelling projectile. Reskinned HMG firing a recoloured forge gun bolt perhaps?
Plasma cannon is very effective against Sentinels. Extremely high alpha and equipped on suits that are highly mobile and impossible to detect for a Sentinel unless looking straight at them... as if you should be running head on at a sentinel. That said, team/squad shared scans are OP.
Range reduction is not so much of an issue on the standard and burst HMG's as they are intended to be lethal in close quarters. The pitiful damage and/or the rapid heat build up is a problem IMO. The burst is useless if 2-3 guys are coming at you and one of them is a sentinel. The standard variant HMG is outclassed by the AHMG at any range in a face to face, blast each others face until one of you drops confrontation.

Bought the Kador skin as well. No regrets, look just the way I wanted it to. Oddly, it also made me read up on the Kador lore.
