Don't have one yet bit I might pick up the Gallente one. Trying to decide if I buy it with Aur and grind for the skin or just grind for the suit. I'll be working on getting the Cal. Already have the Gal Apex and enjoy it, but I want that little extra punch for AV.
I use the gal apex with the 4% dmg mod on the high slots (both) i keep my flux cause it would be crazy not to have it... That usually makes the dropships run after a hit or 2...
And i think i have fitting space to add a better forge gun but i have a soft spot for the apex forge name (specially when it comes up on the kill feed) =) |

I'm going to be (chatty), i was actually thinking about some ideas i want to toss about. Namely the slowdown we (heavies) get when we start shooting with the hmg.
I honestly love it. I just wish that all the other guns had the same effect. It could partially help with the ppl that try to break the hit detection by strafing left n right while shooting.
It also adds the extra tension of "do i shoot or run?" VS shooting and running. |

Minor movement penalty while firing exists for the HMG. What if it worked on other weapons? What would happen to the break dance?
What if they made it so that Dispersion dramatically increased for 0.3 seconds every time you changed direction? Then you could still strafe past a door or orbit an opponent, but would be penalized for wiggle strafing.
Doesn't solve the problem of people Neo Matrix bullet bending dodging. And i think Kaeru is right, Aim assist is just too flimzy to depend upon. On top of that, you cannot just put a flat 0.3 sec on everything, on some weapons it would either be too much or not enough VS putting a simple 3%-10% (depending on the suit would be an interesting approach) speed mobility penalty.
Plus it's always interesting when you have to compensate cause of natural (not glitched) map obstacles. With that logic, remove the bumps on the mountains or make all the building square. I love it when i foresee map obstacles. It's those in-game moments (for me/my opinion) that you can distinguish noobs and vets...
And finding those solutions that encourage THAT flow... The live, learn and adapt VS just accepting that something is broken. |

Is strafing as important for Sentinels as it is for other classes? I'm considering making a Sentinel alt... Brick tanking is only really viable when you're feeling lazy but want to get that decrypt key so you go to dom, stay near the objective with your brick tanked hmg proto heavy and wait as people run into your lead shower. But other than that not really, why I really like being amarr is because of low slots where I can mess with hp and biotics mods, mix and match and all the hat fun stuff then experimenting with your newly created monster who can be speedy, run forever, regen armor faster than shields,be a fortress or a mixture of all of those. Tl;DR- there is more to being a sentinel than Brick tanking. Go crazy
I'm currently working on scout (seeing the other side of the coin works). I want to put all that scout fitting on my gal sentinel (minus the damps) and see what happens.
working on 2 myro on the high and 3 kincants on the lows, dunno what to so with the extra slot on the low =/ |

Ive been a heavy since the time ARs and swarms were op and you had 20tanks in a ambush :D those were the days were you would want to cry in a ambush.
ill update you on my names spelling .
just checked its Inmortal Slayer
Just to confirm, you are saying your alt is named Inmortal Slayer and is skilled to proto Gal Sent?
(don't hit me i just jumped in without reading before) This is just a random comment...
I dropped the whole idea behind having an alt. i mean at some point you are just splitting your ressources and giving yourself a headache going back and forth and wishing you had x skill that you have on your alt. I had 2 alts and i deleted them. ppl might say i should of kept them. If you think about the fact that you get sp per match, in the long run, it's more beneficial to have a single character. and the longer you have an alter, the more you are stuck having that alt permanently. it's easier to kill off an alt with 2-3 mil sp then one that has 20-30 mil sp. |
