I'm fully sure this is not how the myrofibs were supposed to be used.
Caldari assault stacks high slot with Myrofibs Low slots with Ferroscales to take damage Add Mass Driver
Noob Tube no skill kitten crap..
I'm sure this is not the intended purpose use of Myrofibs.
I suggest toning down the jump height boost significantly and add the stamina penalty for quick jumping consecutively.
This has to be stopped.

But... why...
That same guy could get a dropship fly to camp spot of choice and fit 4/5 extenders with regulators instead.. Or we could keep the 500hp flying trolls and hope our playerbase takes the time for some target practice
Myofibs.. CAN be really annoying and tricky to counter.. But they scarifice 5 slots at least for this ability and lack hp tank
I think it's a fair trade

Agreed with this part. Don't much care for the altitudes achieved at 4x and higher, but consecutive moon jumping poses a bigger problem.
0-1 myofibs - 25% stamina consumed per hop 2-3 myofibs - 50% stamina consumed per hop 4-5 myofibs - 100% stamina consumed per hop

I would honestly like to know how many jumpers you've seen over the last 20 matches.
for me, its only been myself when i wanted to derp around in it. and i thiiinnkkkk there was a minscout doping box-link duty.
Other than that i think for the most part everyone's gone back to their normal fits.
Ps, ratatti knows myos are misbehaving, the code ate itself, so instead of all this crazy penalty stuff, he wants to max it at 3, where myos still behave normal. 4 and 5 is when they are broken.

The reason myrofibs recieved this buff was because of rooftop campers but look at primary usage plasma flaylock combo minmatar. That coupled with the wonki hit detection on them is primary issue and why there primarily used for this. cuz they have infinite sprint and godly running speed. Any cal users who use myros have low stamina low sprint speed. Myrofibs sacrifice hp for mobility. |

uh that is not good because this is a defensive measure. your speed tanking instead of shield or armor tanking. what they could do is make it so all armors reduce jump height. Think of this as the Micro warp drive in EVE. you expose your self to more people to shoot at you when you jump but your really evasive.

How 'bout each plate decreases your jump height by X%, such that mario jumps and bricks counteract one another?
Also, one 50ft jump is more than a sufficient defensive measure. Back-to-back 50ft bounding no less ridiculous than wiggle-wiggling through a bullet stream.

What i said in my earlier post about all armors being any plate. Also back to back jumping is needed no matter the height. But I think the maybe myfribers should have a multiplier for stamina ues per jump..

Ya know if they have 5 myos they will have allmost no HP at all. I highly doubt it that this needs balancing, if it would be broken then every 1 and their mother would use it. But because this aint the case i think it is allright how it is.

It pains me to post this as now more will use this.
Assault ck.0 Highs: 4 Complex Myrofibs 1 Complex Light Damage Modifier
Lows: 2 Complex Ferroscale Plates 1 Complex Repair Module
Shield HP 344 (Includes passive skill boost) Armor HP 359 Repair rate 10.87 HP/s
Primary weapon Freedom Mass Driver 330.00 Direct dmg 159.50 Splash Damage 4.40m Blast Radius Clip size of 6 dealing (without added proficiency and WB boost) 1980 Direct damage if land all 6 hits 957 Damage if all 6 hits land in radius
Sidearm Core Flaylock Pistol 192.50 direct dmg 173.80 spash dmg clip size of 4 dealing (Without added proficiency and WB boost) 770 Direct damage if land all 4 hits 695.2 Damage if all 4 hits land in radius
As you can see, this suit by itself has the DPS to kill anything.
The Mass Driver & Flayloc is a low skill High Reward weapon. With the Mass Driver and Flayloc combo on a Assualt Myrofib suit, this is not in any means balanced.
Assaults/scouts using Myrofibs and Kinkats to speed up to melee you. If they fail to get the jump on you, they either use the MD and Flayloc combo by jumping and producing insane DPS or they just dual combo Flayloc jump DPS kill you. This is in no means 'balanced' as they currently have the best of 3 worlds. Range, Speed, and Close Quarters without sacrificing that much armor or shields. 334 Sheild HP AND 359 Armor HP is not sacrificing. This is dual stacking.
While dual stacking, this build I just showed to you all is one of the most abusive lethal suits in the game. There is nothing being sacrificed while using this fitting.
This current fitting is just 1 of the multiple ways you can produce this DPS while abusing the myrofibs. I personally would've rather had a separate module but that is not viable at the moment.
I would love to see your counter to this because I think this is the first time I've used stats to prove my own point. Instead of waiting for someone else to produce the stats.

I love how modules that are supposed to give +25% jump height (each, with stacking penalty), allow an assault that normally just barely jumps 2m (the height of another dropsuit) to instead jump 12-15m. 1.25 * 1.25(.87) * 1.25(.57) * 1.25(.27) = 1.86
Strange how a bonus that should be 1.86x is instead providing 6 - 7.5x bonus.

OK and what if i just get a lift to a vantage spot with a mass driver and 4 complex shield extenders, 1 recharger. and a armor tank and get an EHP of 1200 camping an objective same result will happen if not better has i now have a great tank with good cover. BTW I find this more effective then a jump suit. Microfibers just give the use the ability to quickly get into a position to hammer you with the penalty of less hp but you die to it more frequently as now mass drivers can assault rather then just defend. It is giving them a side grade but it is not a pure upgrade to the mass driver.

Guess how I know that you've never actually used a mass driver? Seriously, try to do it, if you think its OP. Come back afterwards, so you can tell us how easy it was.
Please.

Edit: I should add a bit more substance to my post: Divide the MD's splash damage by how long it takes to fire those 6 shots: roughly a shot per second, so its DPS is 160. Can you name another weapon with a lower DPS?
Describing one of the few weapons in this game that doesn't benefit from aim-assist as a "low skill" weapon, is patently silly. If you use a controller and a shotgun, or a rifle near the edge of its optimal range, and I use a mouse and mass driver (other than the assault), the hitbox I need to aim within to damage you is smaller than yours.

This isn't a QQ thread about MD. I am just showing one of the fits that are abusing the Myrofibs.
If you read the original post I made, nothing in there is asking for a MD nerf. I'm just stating that the Myrofibs are being abused with this fitting of MD and Flayloc combo.
Please do not derail this thread. It's about Myrofibs. I just used and I'll quote my self here

Bull puckey. I suspect that aside from getting killed and looking up some stats, you simply don't know that you're writing about.
The first sentence quoted above is not consistent with the second. The last sentence quoted above is simply wrong. Your fitting is not one of multiple way to produce that DPS. No fitting with a primary weapon other than a MD has a DPS as low as the MD's. Even if you put a sidearm in the primary weapon slot, its hard to get your DPS lower. You're complaining about a fit using one of the lowest DPS weapons in the entire game. You're characterizing the MD as a "low skill" weapon. Disagreeing with your statement is not an attempt to derail the thread.
Seriously, have you tried using a mass driver? If you think its not balanced in combination with myofibs, did you gain that opinion as a result of trying to use it that way, or because you got killed by someone else doing it? I'm genuinely asking. These are not rhetorical questions.

Not only did someone goof with the stacking penalty but the melee bonus of +50% per complex module (75% with max skills) is being applied instead of the +25% that was intended.
