There was whispers of Corp colors once, can it still be done for a corp to sync their colors or does that conflict with faction? Also, New eden has enough cool colors so i'm all for it, the faction stuff you did before turned out great. I have a dream of customized corp colors, but they would be by request or some bidding, we can't make them for everyone "for free"

This sounds so time consuming and inefficient. Maybe works with the smaller player base right now but would it really work if it grows or goes beyond our current console? I assume you would want to ultimately get to similar mechanics that you have with the logo where you select colors, logo variations from a set list to make your own variation of something that exists. Things like shaders that just alter all the colors a certain way, etc. Considering the EVE folks haven't figured out how to do automated custom corp logos, I doubt there's a better option for custom corp SKIN's.
Maybe the best option would be to copy the Guild Tabard system from WoW.
Player Joe Schmoe buys corp SKIN with either AUR or ISK. Generic SKIN colouring while in NPC Corp, nothing special, but he gets to keep it.
Player Corp creates its own colouration for their corp that is approved by CCP.
Joe Schmoe joins the Corp, his generic SKIN changes to Corp Colours
