Colors: Brightly colored fire colors that go down in brightness the further down you go down the suit. So by the time you reach the legs, it's already very charred, and below the ankles is Proto black.
Eye lights: Blue, Red or Orange, depending on what is around them. (Should contrast the fire colors closest to them)

This sounds so time consuming and inefficient. Maybe works with the smaller player base right now but would it really work if it grows or goes beyond our current console? I assume you would want to ultimately get to similar mechanics that you have with the logo where you select colors, logo variations from a set list to make your own variation of something that exists. Things like shaders that just alter all the colors a certain way, etc.
Considering the EVE folks haven't figured out how to do automated custom corp logos, I doubt there's a better option for custom corp SKIN's.
