CCP Ratatouille has mentioned elsewhere that the team is quite a bit bigger than 3 people.

See, this sort of crap is exactly why we have this attitude in the first place - it's been THREE YEARS now, and DUST was basically cancelled in the interim. Had CCP been sensible about what they could actually accomplish in the first place, we'd not be anywhere near as frustrated at the state of this game as we are. We'd also likely have both a larger playerbase.

But no. Player Trading, EVE/DUST link, racial parity... MTACs, even. The list goes on. With so many promises made and then broken, how do you honestly expect us to accept what they do give us with the grace that you seem to expect?

Yeah, a lot of people did. And they're the reason this game went downhill - notice the playercount? they left.

Yeah, we expect more. It's because we were offered more.This game was supposed to be more. So don't give me that holier-than-thou garbage.

EDIT: This is not to say I'm unhappy with what Rattati's achieved - far from it. I understand that he's under a lot of pressure, is understaffed and is working with less-than-optimal software in the first place (I mean, that whole skins thing? Who the hell even thought that was a good way to manage it?). No, it's CCP as a whole that has earned (and rightfully, I think) our ire.

I will speak for the vets who left and say this.

In my own opinion, i like what has been done. Makes the game feel fresh and will have some playability, i will enjoy this i feel.
But i also agree with lorhak cause 1. He's an aussie and aussies are always right and 2. We were promised waaayyy too much with waayyy too little execution back when the team was bigger.

That's because they once again did it wrong, it is NOT trading they bring to the game, it's a pay a fee to give someone your items and HOPE he pays you.

And we already have 10-15 variants of the same suits, and players already payed real money for some of them.

Maybe that some of the reasons.

Another person quoting "It's a f2p game" and using that to explain away terrible core mechanics that make the game un enjoyable to play for the vast majority.

Sure new things are nice... But we are still stuck with the same old broken ass game... Now if this is all the DUST we have ever had? Then a majority of players wouldn't even know that DUST is broken...

Sadly alot of players have seen a DUST where hit detection largely worked... When frame rates in public matches didn't drop off to sub 20 FPS in heated situations...

Sure this is a f2p game... THAT THEY MAKE MONEY ON.... People are paying... And then when they are unsatisfied they come to voice their opinion...

Tons of paying customers who bought boosters every month and Aurum to have fun with every month have moved on because of players like you... Stating that it's a f2p game if they don't like it they can frack off. Meanwhile they have poored hundreds of dollars into the title and wonder why the game can't even run at a consistent FPS... Or actually have Bullets register on targets consistently.

If you want to gush and fanboy over them finally giving player trading that would of added alot mroe to this game then cloaking ever would of... That is your deal... I will be skeptical and criticize on these forums.. And if i want to Fanboy? I will goto fanfest and buy them a drink.

I really am starting to ******* hate Game developers in IRL and on the forums. Either its an inherent lack of social skills built over the years or just a sense of misplaced superiority. The fact that you need a position like a community manger because most of you are just **** Posters (like the OP) is the only bafflement here.

You work in a service entertainment industry, and harsh criticism and feedback is unacceptable Furthermore, you make it seem like CCP has this flawless record, and this community just hates to hate. CCP promised the world and in turn gave us a hovel.

Is the game better then release. Yes. Is CCP still in the hole for their **** ups. Yes.

You do realize that a free to play game that youve paid for is no longer free to play....right?

If people stopped playing this game every time CCP did something stupid it would not have last half a year...

CCP needs the money, i don't regret a dollar i spent on this game. I have spent quiet a lot.

Just because the game is free to play does not mean it does not have to make money.

So you admit that the game isnt F2P for many, yet you would still advise paying customers to not voice their discontent with poor management of the game theyve invested in?
