Project Legion B-Roll
Part of what was good about this demonstration was it showed an attempt to better immerse the player via UI elements that move with the character. This better makes you feel like you're actually the character rather than a disembodied camera.
With that in mind, look at this: EVE Valkyrie Gameplay Trailer
CCP Newcastle has gone to great lengths to make a player wearing a VR headset feel like they are in the cockpit of a starfighter. This work can benefit Dust in terms of working with the UI and sound in the game to give a similar feeling to Dust players.
One of the aspects of the Replication Build (early Closed-Beta) that was superior to what we have now was the sound of the character breathing inside the helmet and the slight bobbing of the UI elements. These two elements combined made you feel more engaged in the experience.
I'm not sure if it's possible to bring those elements back, but if so, combining that with the current goal of improving framerates might be another element to make the gameplay a bit more engaging.

Good points. I was not around in Replication Build, so I have not experienced what your saying, but it sounds better than we have now. Rattati, I hope you see this.

I remember that actually (I have a terrible memory of past iterations...) and it was really good for immersion. If it could be brought back it'd be brilliant.

I once headshot sgit kirk with a sniper rifle once you know

I imagine anywhere from $75-$200. I mean, it is a most part a relatively small 1080p screen,some projectors, and some other instruments inside of a plastic casing, and sony tends to price things decently, so it shouldn't be too costly. the only reason why The OR is $300 is because it's a prototype, and those kinds of products usually cost way more than the consumer release. We can reasonably expect them to be like, at the most, as I said $200, but I expect it to be around 125-150 most likely.
That samsung VR thing (whatever the **** they are calling it) WILL however be through the roof in the price, as they overcharge the **** out of everything for some reason. Kind of like Micro$soft.

and all of those visual effects. Can't forget about those, and the ones added later on in Codex. they were sadl removed for FPS improvements, but we could get them back (and looking better) if we moved to X86 platforms......

Hopefully Valk on PS4 is a success, so the marketing team can tell Rouge and co. to stop what they are doing in Legion, take the decent parts that we like so far about it (as in show us what's gone on so far, and we say what 's the good ****), and then start working on Dust for PS4
