How do i report harassment?

The Lion ElJonson 1st Legion The Dark Angels Learning Alliance 141	Posted - 2015.04.20 10:35:00 - [1] - Quote I have a young lad in my corp, hes ran a few matches as squad leader and after a disturbance at his home he was interrupted half way through a pub dom. he didn't quit and struggled finishing the match before bugging out. Shortly after returning to game he was messaged by a player belittling him which lets face it, its EvE right? Its not stopped there, after blocking him this guy now has his PSN and has sent messages through PSN, abuse etc. now this guy is claiming hes in with Devs GM's and alsorts which has my recruit in bits as hes spent shed loads on Dust514. As a CEO ive seriously never had this problem and i'm trying to keep noobs in the game. I feel i should already know how but ive been going round in circles. How can i report this to CCP and Sony and has anyone had to do this before, if so can you please give me some advice or reassurance to pass on and keep a note of myself. thanks The chat channel 'player trade' is open for adding contacts and placing item advertisements in game.

If I recall correctly, they tend to get a high priority so it should be resolved reasonably quickly. There might be a report to Sony thing somewhere but I'm not sure where to find it. Reporting to CCP should work fine. Be sure to tell your newbie friend that anyone claiming an 'in with the devs' is talking rubbish. It is apparently (from my quick searching on the PSN website) possible to report people from the PS3 XMB itself. Hnolai ki tuul, ti sei oni a tiu. Kirjuun Heiian. I have a few alts.

I reported a player for the same stuff, and still is in the doing the same stuff. To say I think the mates at CCP don't care about us. Whats the plays UN? I do not believe that it is against forum rules to post screen shots which include his name. The EULA and ToS covers peoples personal information not putting their in game activity on display. If he is not gone very soon I say out him so that he can receive encouraging words from many people.

I am glad to see the people here gave you the correct advice. It is possible that this guy is in a chat channel with CCP Rattati, as Rattati makes himself very accessible, but that does not mean Rattati or one of his staff wonGÇÖt slap the guy down through proper channels when this is brought to their attention. When the harassment went to the PSN, it became out of game harassment, which is a very big No No from CCPGÇÖs perspective. I always appreciate a CEO who goes above and beyond to look after his members. Good job! Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

It was him, he told me that he'd took to much hero1n that night and apologised first thing the next day. I was suprised too as usually he's a cool guy.

Thanks to your advice he has filed a report to CCP and Sony with the details and attachments needed and blocked the offender on both accounts but the best part is his reassurance has gone up 100% after seeing this thread. As i told him you need a sense of humour in New Eden as well as a thick sick skin but theres a line. We might argue over balance, change, worlds and even the petty things, but having some of the veterans of the long wars stand together and say 'no' that is unacceptable, heres what you should do and heres my advice.
