Right now the matchmaking system dividing the playerbase into two groups means the only way to get good matches is to have average stats. If you're in any way good at the game you only get matched with other veterans, of which there is a small number, so making balanced matches is nearly impossible. With my 1.25 KD, however, I actually get pretty balanced matches most of the time. Then I get in a squad with one of my high-KDR friends and suddenly it's a stomp one way or the other. As I've said before, no matter what CCP does with matchmaking, it can't make good matches with a tiny playerbase. I support Keshava for Gallente Specialist HAV R.I.P. Kesha

If matchmaking actually works, you go from a proto player being dropped in amongst low millions players to being dropped in with those with skill points that are about equal. Moaning ensues.
