What fiits you do recommend for std amarr senitels? I recommend 4 armor reps, light damage mod and an ACR

Breakin StuffGÇÖs recommended fit is actually a decent fit, although if the rep mods are Proto, you can get away with 2 and add some plate in there. My Advanced Amarr Sent fit has 2 rep and 1 plate. On proto I add a Kin Cat.
Given the current state of the HMG I can totally see why he would recommend a ACR. I went 0/10 in a Dom this morning. Got killed by a Laser Rifle, Scrambler Rifle, Assault Rifle, and a lot of Combat Rifles. Could never get within HMG range before dying.
If you do stick to the HMG, I would suggest using an SMG on anything more than 20m away. If you use the Burst HMG as I do, you will want to switch to the SMG after the third burst; run with the SMG out to run faster and for panic reactions when you get ambushed, only switching to the Burst HMG when you have a shot lined up; and as with the normal HMG, always use the SMG on anything over 20m. (After using the Bust HMG, the SMG feels like a fire hose.)

If you want a solo heavy then you should use the caldari. Let me be clear. The Amarr Sentinel with two Proto Reps (or 3 militia reps on a BPO Sent) is the best Sentinel for solo work.
The Caldari Sent is almost as good for solo, but less mobile due to lack of stamina. So stick to point defense.
The Adv Min Sent with 2 Kin Cats, and 1 Myofibril is the most fun (although it has less than 1000 HP.) I put a proto Energizer in the second high slot. (Although a second Myofibril will let you jump over railings.)

Since you're running solo you're going to need local reps to maintain your rather high armor pool, since your shields are going to be terrible. If you're going to be hunkered down in one place a lot, I'd go with 2 plates and a rep. However if you find yourself struggling to keep up due to the low rep rate, feel free to swap a rep out. Basic reps are pretty terrible, so I'd try to use a Complex if at all possible. Complex Rep + 2 Basic Plates is my typical cheap Amarr Sentinel fit.
Other people are right however, the Amarr Sentinel is probably the worst suit to run Solo. But I run it solo, I do just fine. You shouldnt brick tank amarr sent if you want to solo Agreed. I have all 4 Sentinel Suits maxed, and run solo regularly.
Amarr Sent will give you the highest KDR if you user 2 Proto Reps (3 Standard/Militia). I like to put 1 plate on it (no more, as it reduces speed too much.) Make heavy use of Cover. With this fit your Armor reps almost as fast as your shields. Duck to cover until your shield is most of the way back before engaging again.
The Amarr has good stamina, so you can replace the Plate with a Kin Cat to make more of a flanking fit.
I have been running Min Sent more recently, because it is a lot of fun, but I die a lot more than I doe when running Amarr Sent solo.
I don't run Caldari Sent much because before you get half way across a field you will have to slow down to catch your breath. You want to sprint a lot when you run solo and the Caldari does not have the stamina for it.

2 milita reps and a armor plate And when you upgrade those 2 militia reps to Proto that fit will feel amazing.
When running Milita modules I usually ditch the plate and opt for 3 reps, but 2 reps and a plate is what I use with better modules.

I completely agree with this, the HMG is really only good for Point Defense but still can be very useful in other terms. I will definitely try out a ACR or ASCR on my sent though. If they would reduce the dispersion on the Assault HMG, or give us a Tactical HMG which mimics the old HMG prior to 1.8 (No Dispersion at all), then Sentinels would not have to experiment with rifles.
