If you want respect then you'll have to earn it by being respectful. If not then fine, get all bitchy then. Have fun sniping the other seven snipers in 4 v 4 snipe offs when everyone quits playing. Snipers are what stop you from being torn apart by MD rain, and can occasionally even snipe uplinks that would be extremely difficult to reach.
Amen brutha. Usually when I snipe it ticks the opposition off and they then try to snipe me. So, by being useless I just made someone else become useless and evened the odds!
I have actually cleared the objective enough to allow the team to get in and capGǪ from the redline!

Yet somehow in the matches with the most snipers in my team this is the type of stuff going on. Snipers are more worthless than nipples on a man
I've seen more than my fair share of assaults and scouts being useless (usually what makes me rake to sniping). So, it really isn't the role. This is what happens with protostomping power players thrown into the mix of what otherwise would be a fun game.

The sway on a sniper rifle makes it really hard to shoot quickly, which is kinda important at 40cm most of the time. I've killed people at 1m before, but they were fellow snipers so I took the time to crouch and wait for the sway to stop, then to aim properly.
Firing quickly with a sniper rifle (going round no-scoping) is more of a controller type of play style, and I play with a mouse and keyboard. I can plasma cannon pretty well with it |
