Pretty icky fit for me...
But I'm sure it works for you. I'd hate to be that slow in a shield suit. I'd switch an extender for an energizer, and I'd switch the plates for a rep and a reg, maybe the cardiac for another reg, but maybe not since the base stamina regen is terrible.

the problem with the AR build is it's a brawler weapon, and it's **** poor vs. gallente and amarr suits compared to a rail rifle. So you have to stack shield HP/regen rather than damage mods.
which means everyone you're fighting will out-DPS you.

All comp mods. 3 extenders,1 energizer,1 recharger, 2 regulators, reactive plate. I use rail rifles, so just change the energizer or something.
Petition to ban the trainyard map.

I'm finding anything but the TAC so ****-poor at brawling within the AR cadre that I've switched out to assault RR. The kick is tricky to handle on a spool-up weapon but that extra tightness in the hip fire dispersion makes such a massive difference I swear. The AR needs some serious love.

Only if they're scrubs on Kirk's team in GFW. They want to counter proper Caldari Assaults that badly.
As the above posts point out, they'll die to pretty much anything else.

Tbh I find armour rep modules pointless when a k17 hive reps more faster. Yeah the fit is not to everyones liking, but I've never really rated regs/energisers or rechargers - especially as ur kinda forced to use them to overcome the numerous stacking penalties (armour plates only have 1 penalty, some have a penalty and a bonus, others no penalty at all) - I also don't like to be one shotted by a charged scrambler. |

As many shields as I can possibly fit, to hopefully stay alive, with a regulator, the only viable option to stay alive, sorta. Some ferroscale plates. My "trusty" RR, with either a bolt pistol or magsec, and of course my AV nades, never leave merc without em
