You're cutting off player interaction with this halfwit system. Can you just put in the time and make a proper player trading screen, that'll show what each other is trading before making a deal? Also keep a give option, to trade between alts and just to give out things. As of now I can only see myself trading with maybe 10 people.

Not by a player trading feature that CCP has built to be used to screw players over. CCP Reykjavik gives you the tools to safely operate in the game it is upto your learning and intellect to learn, use and understand them fully.. They don't purposely develop game features with built in features so that players can screw each other over without defense other then trusting another player again without the ability to defend. CCP is proud to announce thale redline trading!

Countdown to the inevitable "i got robbed of real life money items QQ" thread. It's not being "purposely built into the system" otherwise EVE would have a gifting mechanic, not a trading mechanic. The reality is that CCP has frozen funding to the DUST project, pulled off the majority of developers, and done away with R&D. So, clearly the mechanics for a proper trade function weren't already there, so CCP had to do some fudgery to get SOMETHING out after 3 years. And lo, player gifting was born.
Damn, how depressing.

You know that the 'safe' trading system is relatively new in eve terms right? the 'both parties accept' feature, wasnt always included. bug or design, i dont remember, but man could you catch bads with it Even with the "Both Parties Accept" feature, clever scammers found a way around that.
Ok and, this systems going to lead to way more scamming than the eve trading system.

@Maken tosch What if my brokers not on, or busy, or i just want to move cheap gear w/o hassle. Can all be avoided with a trade screen. There's no need for brokers.
