CCP are very good pc developers, and invest a lot into Eve. I won't argue they were not that great and a bit naive jumping into the ps3 game development as they did. The game is not for everyone, and I for one am glad of that. It doesn't take being a nexkbeard to play it, but it does help :)

Actually your wrong and can easily be disproved. But why waste key strokes on anyone just trying to start a flame war....Eve is a sandbox while WoW is a theme park. Both are amazing games. Perhaps you need to join Eve University or sign up with a large corporation to appreciate Eve Online which is mainly a PvP based game. Not PvE.

Anyone got a link they can mail me on PSN for an official WoW game that's a futurist Sci/fi space ship speed sheet game anywhere near in comparison to EvE without wizards, orks , goblins, elves and other lord of the rings style none category games please don't bother. WoW is probably the height of its league in the style of game it is, personally I haven't had the pleasure but I'm quite sure its nothing like EvE or even Dust for that matter. As a whole your debate over what is better that what is purely down to speculation

So then when I log into EvE and it tells me there's more than zero players other than me playing? Your statement implies I'm the only one who plays EvE, your not doing well in providing a case. How popular one game in a category is doing to another in a seperate category, you put them in one big huge basket of MMO, that was your biggest mistake

i have been paying eve subs for like 6 years none stop now but have not played it in a year. cant say i would do that for the likes of wow or any other game

shows how little you actually pay attention to any pc gaming stuff outside of fantasy pillaging with your orcs and elves...

Eve has something that nothing else can touch, and most are scared to even attempt. It is nearly full player driven, it is not some theme park. You make it how you want it, it's the players game. The player driven economy and market are talked about in forbes magazine dude, college courses have used it in lectures. There are some people playing that game that are also the same people who do big things in this world.

We get it, you can't handle something like that. It's ok, not many can..but you are wrong that it's on nobodies radar, and that it's worthless and only basement dwellers play it, lol.. so wrong

I don't do that anymore. I won't deny that I used to do it before the matchmaking changes though, and that was because I wanted to make sure I had the best chances of winning. Losing a match wasn't fun, and so I tried to make sure it happened very infrequently.

Now though, I focus more on having fun. If I can't find anyone to fill the squad, I'll just deploy anyway. I've found that running with a full squad is now counter-productive to maximising my chances of victory, because I'll end up getting thrown against the rootinest tootinest pubstompers you ever did see, usually with uneven teams.
