If you don't rely on your cloak as a scout, I HIGHLY advise you to try shotgun with an Assault suit.

M1 Locus Grenade
X-3 Quantum Nanohive
Complex Kincat x2
Complex Cardiac Regulator
Complex Armor Plate
Complex Armor Repairer
Enhanced Shield Extender
Basic Shield Extender x2
My PG is only at lvl 4, but if you have lvl 5, you can use an Enhanced Extender instead of Basic
I just thought I'd share this for anyone who wants to skill into Scouts. If you want a Cloak, use a Scout. If you wanna Shotgun bitches like it's nothing, use an Assault.
Enjoy getting completely shut down the second anyone equips a scanner.
I use mk.0 assault:
2 kincats
1 dampener
1 regulator
3 adv. shield extenders
1 precision enhancer
shotgun/bolt pistol, core locus gren, x-3 nanohive
Works great until people start using scanners, then you have to use the scout if you want to keep being effective. And thats why shotgun assaults still suck and scouts still have a place. |

'Cause I see it once every 3 matches or so and I am predominantly a Logi. If they have scans, I Logi, if not, I run SG Gassault or Logi anyways
I see it quite a bit, I dunno if you're just stuck in the scrub mu bracket or something, but probably half my games have some donkey on the other team who would rather be a scanning ballerina than a dust merc.
Edit: and more importantly, EVERY PC EVER will have people running top tier scans. |

I put the SG on the Min because the speed and stamina regen trumps the dispersion bonus.
Without all the boring module details:
Minmatar Assault mk.0 with Duvolle SG, proto SMG, proto RE, 700 eHP, sprint 9.73, 1 complex myo for the hops, and profile 24db.
Fast, durable, very deadly, stealthy, and mobile.
Use in city maps, hardly ever scanned.
One of my favorite fits.
Should try it with bolt pistol or breach scrambler, they make really good compliments to the shotgun |
